some nice figure in your rifle,it is beyond my comprehension as to why Rossi don't go with the nice look of the wood, than to stain it in that blackish poop
To make them all look the same and because no one has to be hands on with each rifle if they all get "coated". Simple economics.
Yep,you would be right on the money there mate

My only real complaint with my Rossis were the plain, dull stocks. Before I chose to get walnut versions, I decided to give them a coat or two of WATCO Danish Oil right over the original finish. The difference was astounding.
My experience has been very similar. A few coats of Tru-Oil on top of the original finish and the bland walnut stocks look nice, with more depth, better color and an adjustable sheen.
Very nice!

What to do after a horrible performance from your college football team...a little woods therapy. Didn't see anything but a squirrel or else I would put this in the hunting forum. It did feel really good just to be out sitting in the woods with a great rifle.

Very nice, it has more of a matte finish which I would find appealing. Don't care for the bright finish on the rifles here in the US.

That one^ has a williams aperture rear sight, cut and refinished stock with Remington rubber pad, flush-mount sling setup, metal follower, safety removed, shorter front sight. All I need now is to find a standard loop lever to replace this one with.
