I gave my wife a S&W M64 3 inch back in '83. She does well with it and we use it for a house gun. It is easy to load for and doesnt throw the brass all over. She says she doesnt understand why anyone would want anything else.

That'd be a hell of a sign to hang outside above the door to.

One of the things that attracted me to Mrs Willy is that she shoots and hunts too. Her idea of a home defense gun is a Remington 1100 though. And she's hell on wheels with it.

I did some water jug testing sometime back on all my pistol bullets. I bought a number of different brands of jacket bullets from the basic FMJ to premium self defense ammo. In a nut shell, my designs out penetrated them all. In the 32 ACP, the deepest penetrating factory bullet/ammo was the Magtech 71-grain Lead Round Nose. Left everything other than my bullet jugs behind. Poorest penetrating Gold Dots. I will look around for the data that I had posted on another site.

Plan on doing some shooting with my Taurus PT745 Millennium Pro with my TLC457-240-RF, it is a hoss of a bullet.

The pistol is the slickest single stack 45 ACP I've shot. Left a Glock 36 for it.

I love reading threads/posts like this... I believe in the ability of my spouse being able to defend herself the way small children believe in Santa Clause.
*grin*
Of course it helps that the sweety is a beautiful, intelligent, and practical woman.
Which translates as she snagged my heavily modded, 70's Combat Commander for her very own {Traded me a .454 Ruger for it she did}.
But the thought of someone going for an unauthorized entry makes me sigh heavily. Mainly because I HATE painting. She has a really, really, serious affection for my old Mossberg 500 Tactical/IDPA sidematch "toy". #6 shot at 20 feet or less. Effective, and minimizes chances of overpenetration casualties through sheetrock walls.
