92 SRS and 92 SRC in 38/357

Post by *1sauerkraut »

Hello ...

I have acquired some very old 92's and I'm trying to find anything out about them. One is the short 92 SRS and the other is a longer 92 SRC. Barrels are stamped Interarms Alexandra Virginia. No safteys on them at all. Serial numbers both start with a "K". Somewhat low numbers on both. K 0XXXXX. The short 92 SRS has the largest loop. The 92 SRC has very intricate carvings on the stock and grips.
I will try to get some pictures.

I don't know what an SRS is but I have an SRC like yours. Rossi didn't seem to ship guns in serial order so the SN doesn't help date it but it should have Julian dates on the parts inside. Mine is from 1987.
