R92 manufacture date

I have an R92 with serial number 7CR007997M. Can anyone tell me when it was a manufactured?

Rossi might be able to ... if it's new enough to made by the current company.
There is no reliable correlation between serial number and date of manufacture I have found.

FWIW -- I just picked up a stainless 92 in 44 Mag and it is in 7CR04xxxxP series. LGS says it was apparently newly manufactured.
