Rossi Rifleman

Hello friends,

I stopped by the shopRossi.com website tonight. I have been looking for a way to increase the LOP of my Rossi 92 45 Colt.

Rossi now offers replacements stocks for several rifles including the 454 Casull complete with recoil pad.

I ordered one to see if it will fit my rifle and give me an extra 1" to 1 1/2".

Thought you guys might like to know.

UPDATE below.....

I got the new stock today from Rossi. It added about 1 1/2" of length. Perfect. Went right on.

I will order a replacement fore end to match the new rear stock. The new rear stock is a different color then the wood that came with my rifle.

Very happy.

Thanks for the heads-up about the parts; very nice to see!

I see the various buttstocks but no forearm stocks. Hopefully, they add them as well.

Let us know how it fits. I would like to get one for my R92 .44mag.

I KNEW I'd seen them yesterday when I browsed the site. STILL not complete but it's a start.

I found the forearms under the "New Items." The parts page needs to be reorganized, but very glad to see the items.

It'll fit. I have put my 454 stock onto my 44 and 45 at different times when I was going to do a lot of shooting.

It's a little longer but not very much.

Thanks for the information. I would like to get that stock to increase the length of pull on my 357 SRC. Think it will fit a 357? May also get a forend as they are inexpensive and could be finished to match the buttstock. The wood on my rifle is pretty nice and I would like to keep it as is, so that it can put it back on if desired.

Yeah, it'll fit a 357 also. They are all pretty much the same as far as the stock dimensions go.

There's the actual difference in length. Just a little more than 1-1/8" at the widest point .
