Rossi Rifleman

I have been tinkering with the ol 16" rossi 44 mag lately doing some homemade mods and such to save a few dollars. Next on my list is cutting that giant buckhorn sight down and making it level just above the notch. Before I break out the dremel and files, has anyone done this and do you have any tips or tricks to help?

Lots of people have posted about this modification. I'm sure each has his own way.
