What 45 Colt handgun have you paired with your 45 Colt Rossi 92 ? DA or SA?

I have a Ruger 45 Colt/$%ACP convertible. Works fine except for my 92 hunting load.

I also have the Ruger 357/38 paired with my 92 in that flavor.

Make smoke,

I have a suggestion, but take it with a grain of salt - InterArms Virginian Dragoon. I don’t know why they call it a Dragoon - It’s a pretty faithful copy of the Colt SAA. I don’t shoot 45 Colt, but I’ve looked long and hard at the 44 Mag versions. I just can’t make myself give up on SA/DA.

depends on whether you load your own or have to go buy ammo.
I don't want one of my Rossi hunting loads accidentally slipped into one of my USFA's.
the USFA's get their own belt and ammo loop, I got no problem with using their ammo in the lever rifle.

the Ruger has it's own belt and it can handle more of the 'Rossi' ammo than I can.

Same here. Use the same loads for both handgun and long gun. Long gun is the bring home to momma meat gun though.

Uberti Cimarron Evil Roy.

I don't have a Rossi in .45 Colt. Wish I did but I'm picky and have to wait for a local FTF on a pre-safety. Like hen's teeth.

I could never buy a DA in .45 Colt.

I dont have a 45 lever either.
But i do carry a 45 with a 45-70, and share the same bullet with both, the Gould bullet, Lyman 457122HP, sized down to .452
It will only fit in the ruger blackhawk with 45 LC brass.
It will also fit the bond arms derringer.
I dont know the rossi 92 45 colt rifling dimensions.
I know my 44 mag 92 is .431, and my blackhawk is .429.
If im using FMJ bullets it is not a big deal, but if im casting, would have to keep the loads separate.
I just came across an ideal mold 429422HB, hollow base version for the Keith 429421.
I am going to try to make a load that will work in both rifle and revolver accurately.
Maybe start with .429 sized bullets, then try .430.

Same concept with my Evil Roy above. Hand-checkered walnut grips and custom tuned from the factory.

I did a Walt Kirst conversion on a Uberti 1860 Army.

https://www.kirstkonverter.com/1860-colt-army.html

It will handle a 255 gr lead bullet with 7.8 gr unique.
45 colt or schofield will work.
I have an old version of the Keith 454424, will only work with schofield brass, Kirst cylinder is too short, came across load data in the lyman manual, not tried it yet.
It will handle the lee 255 with 45 brass though.
always thought myself strange because the 1860 army is my favorite revolver.
