The Fix Was Simple!

I was at the range yesterday trying some different loads in my 44 mag when the lever refused to open! Went home, took it all apart, and saw nothing that seemed to be wrong!
Put it back together, cycled dummy rounds and it locked up again!
Well, thanks more to dumb luck than knowledge, I noticed that the loading gate was sightly askew. Tightened the screw and all seems to be well!
When will I learn to check the easy things first??
