Purchased my Stainless Rossi R92 in 357 Mag, last September. What a great little gun. Light and fast handling, easy to shoot and just and all around pleasure. My favorite pastime with it is plinking steel target at the range. I usually set-up my steel plate arrays at distances from 20 to 50 yards and blast away. My only problem (good problem) is I can go thru a lot of ammo quickly.
I mostly shoot 38 Spl. ammo since I have a 5 gallon bucket full of 38 Spl. brass. I only have several hundred 357 Mag. brass and I can load the 38 Spl to +P which performs fairly similar. On occasion I set out steel out to 100 yards and if I do my part it's no problem for the R92.
I'm enjoying this R92 so much It's time to add a 45 Colt Carbine version. I know my 357 Mag. needs company in the safe.
