Well I managed to talk with Rossi. They will not sell me the screw I need. Have to send the damn rifle back to them plus fifty dollars shipping. Seem the dealer I bought it from should be responsible to send it back, not me. Tried Steve's and sain his number was disconnected..tried newrich no parts available. This is my last Rossi.

Contacted Rossi. They have the screw but will not send me one. I have to return the rifle, pay a 50 dollar shipping fee. What's up with that.

I've seen Ruger tell someone the same thing:
"No we won't ship you the bolt (threaded cap screw) you need. You must either send US the gun or take it to a Ruger Authorized Service Center" (...BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO PUT THAT SCREW BACK IN!)

Found the screw I needed finally at Jack's first. Thank God. Now I don't have to send it back. Going to lock tight it this time.

Just be very careful with Loctite in the action.

Make smoke

I will be,no problem about that. Not sure why it fell out in the first place. After doing lots of web searching,I see where lots of people had the same issue. So I ordered 2 of the screws just in case.. +guns

I would avoid use of loctite. Use nail polish. You really don't need any threadlocker at all.
