I just logged on to the "LeadHead Bullet" web site (first time in a couple of weeks) and on the main page was the notification that Tommy Mace (owner/operator) had passed away and the family was going through the records in order to refund all the as-yet unfilled/paid orders. Closing shop Permanently? I don't know.

The LeadHead 265gr g/c boolit has been my favorite cast .44 mag projectile for the R92 since 2013. I'd hoped to get in an order for another 500, even though I'd have expected a three to four month wait.

Sad news for a lot of the reloading world. The family really has my sympathy.

after about 7 years of enjoying tinkering with the LeadHead 265 gr g/c boolits, and now they are probably gone for good ..... I punched this pattern in paper at the old guy amusement park yesterday ....

now, with all this "shortage crap" I have to start over ...
