that 35 rem sure put a hurtin on it.

I heard ruger is shipping some marlin levers next week, 45-70 I believe.
I wish they would make a marlin 35 rem with ballard rifling like yours.

All we can do is hope Ruger offers some classic Marlin re-dos. American shooters are hungry for good lever actions. I think Henry now offers a side-gate 35 Remington. The 35 's a mild mannered thumper for sure.

I notice that you don’t include a threaded muzzle in your list. Are you okay with muzzle brakes, linear compensators or suppressors, or did you just forget to include barrel threads?

I speculate that Ruger will reintroduce & ship other models this coming year that will try to appeal to the varied sensibilities of potential buyers.

Be nice to be able to get a new 1895 Cowboy model ...

I would like to see the CB model, but I bought a 2018 rem/marlin 1895 CB back in 2019/2020.
I have compared it to my JM models, and it is just as good or better.
The only difference I can find is there is no warning label info stamped on the barrel, or anywhere on the firearm.
Im assuming either they made a mistake or they may not be stamping warning labels on CB models to make them look more traditional?, I dont know.
Mine is the 26" 45-70 octagon.
Had the tang drilled and tapped for the MVA #107 vernier sight.

Installed the bear tooth saddle ring, mag tub follower, and the wild west trigger.
Also installed the smith ladder rear sight and a lyman globe front sight.
This rifle was new unfired, $839.00. back around 2019/2020.
I see them on gunbroker going for 3 times that amount.
I saw those SBL rem models going for $2500 / $3000 the other day on gunbroker.
I dont understand what is driving these prices up.

Yuck. Didn't notice. Can't see it in the picture and the picture made me exit the page before reading anything.

Note the 1895 Marlin SBL in 45-70 has been 'released' according to the articles from the NRA mags.

I paid about $700 or maybe $750 for one a few years ago once Remington figured out how to put them together straight.
