Rear sight position

What position do I set my rear sight to if I am shooting at 50 yards. Is there a template for
distance when adjusting the rear sight?

It can be different for most rifles I don't think that there is a standard starting point other than set it all the way back and then start firing to test P.O.I. compared to your P.O.A. really this is the only way for you to find out. your P.O.I. will be different with many types of ammo as well. keep us posted
