Surveyor, have you used these 240s on game? My quest for accuracy out past 50 yds is going to involve some other .45 Colt bullets. I've had excellent performance on deer and antelope from 250 gr standard XTPs. But I'm having accuracy issues.
I'll try the .45 240s in XTP mag, and maybe, either of the two 300 gr XTPs. Also, I'll put 200, 225, and 250 gr Barnes XPBs to the test. And, it's only fair to try some cast other than what I've already run through the 92.

the only critters I've shot with the XTP were a couple of jack rabbits last year at about 40 yards. The bullets didn't do near as much excessive violence as I was expecting. I have heard both good and bad concerning their performance on deer. I haven't had that experience with the XTP yet.
