Rossi Rifleman

So, i replace my springs with the lee gunslinger kit, got her all back together with no extra parts lieing around, but now the bolt hits resistance after it travels back about an inch. didnt do this before. closes great. Im pretty new to this, any suggestions?

Is the pin that mates the bolt & lever seated flush into the bolt? Both sides?

Loosen the screws slightly that the cartridge carrier pivots on.

I had this in mine at times and e1957 advice is what I had to do I had tightened everything to much and she bound up. I still haven't shortened screws up like I always say I will lol Keep us posted.

Carriage screw loosening did the trick, thanks fellers
