'Nuther Noob

Post by Tazman1602 »

Hello All,

My name is Art and I live in northern Michigan. Love guns and am a part time gunsmith and FFL dealer in my area. Love my Marlins...........but..........with the new Marlingtons being made they just don't have the same allure anymore so I went out and got a Rossi 92 in .357 Mag and it will be here Tuesday. Glad I found this place, you can find me frequently over at cast boolits. Can't wait to cast some up for this new Rossi!

Yeah I'm afraid you're right Michael if I can get this one to function the way I want it to. Doesn't look too God awful hard to take care of any issues I've read about and it doesn't matter if I have 20 hours into it. The PRICE is WAY affordable compared to Marlins *when* you can find them........

I actually look forward to fixing manufacturers issues with burrs, rough spots, and triggers to tell the truth.................

Thanks for the welcome guys! Rifle be here tomorrow! WOO-HOO!

Yup you're right Michael. Already looking at 16" barrel 357's in stainless now. Even though sights aren't done yet after putting a couple hundred down the tube and cleaning right it's really slicked up a bunch.

Now I'm in the blind posting while hunting!

Awesome Art. 14 straight days in a row for me as of today. Only missed going out one morning and one other evening so far. To to date, I've only carried the Rossi 92. First week was the 45 Colt, this week was the 480 Ruger, thinking of changing to the 44 Mag in the morning and the 357 Mag the following week.
