Laser Bore Sight

I don't recall seeing any posts regarding these bore sights so here goes ...

Just ordered this one to use with zeroing in the new scout scope.

Anyone have experience with this particular one ? Any words of wisdom in using
this type ? I like the idea of inserting it directly into the chamber BUT I imagine
you have to be extra careful extracting it.

LOL, if nothing else I can use it in my revolvers to see how well I'm aiming and
holding on the target.

Comments encouraged and always welcomed ... Jim

Oh, I had a coupon so I didn't pay full price and shipping was free.

I've been affraid to get one. Both my .357s shoot well and it would mess with my head if the laser was "off". Then again I ain't putting a scope on a Blackhawk or SRC. Maybe I'll get one in 5.56 to help with a new project.

They are good to help find paper faster with less ammo. You bought a name brand one so shouldn't have to much issue. It's the knock off ones that can cause more trouble than they are worth. For me I can load enough ammo for the cost of one so I don't see the point but I did however get one for my newer DDM4V5 cannot complain. save some time and ammo.

AK said, For me I can load enough ammo for the cost of one so I don't see the point .

I had the same thought but having a coupon and free shipping persuaded me to take
the plunge. I've been pouring over those You Tube videos of two & three shot zeroing
techniques and the bore sight can only enhance that ( I think ).

The laser lets you reach paper at home, so you don't have to go to the range to get the initial adjustment. If your range is your backyard, then never mind! :)

I ordered one in .223.

they do truly speed up finding your paper I didn't mean it as harsh as my statement sounded. I found that match ammo was costly and only recently really delved into match loading in .223. So I knew I needed a faster way. they have a place no doubt. keep s posted to how well your performs and think about time and ammo saved if without it. they generally pay for themselves in time and ammo saved if quality product in first place. +guns Rd got me to the point of trying them again so I did no regrets.

No offence taken AK. For us hand rollers a few extra rounds down range
doesn't dent the wallet. I was so frustrated recently even trying to " get
on paper " I ordered the scout scope to compensate for the weakening
eyesight.
The bore sight is en-route and I will evaluate it in the back yard although
that's not my range ( wish it was ). Stifling heat may delay a range trip.

I had trouble sighting this scope on another AR so I figured what the heck.
