Nothing specific, I buy whatever "speaks" to me. But I'm currently enamored with '92 and '94 platforms in 24" & 26" octagonal barrels. Pistol calibers so far, but .32-40, .38-55 and .45-70 are interesting. Wouldn't turn down a long-legged .30-30 either.
Not that I have anything against carbines, I just like them long boomsticks at the moment.....

I would have to have one of these

It's a Browning take down blr in .300 win mag. you then pick from an additional barrel in .375 or .416 ruger (my choice).

Nice but if the last comment I read is any indication then it appears to be rather expensive with a long wait if it shows at all.Coop 45 wrote:I would have to have one of these

Got'cha. A friend of mine here in Cuero owned the RG 410 he liked it but really ended up without a need for it. He offered it to me for $250 and I passed as I just couldn't figure out a need either. He sold it and bought a RG45-70 and remains happy with it as a deer rifle.GasGuzzler wrote:How about that Henry.

True I have no use for the 410. I think if I get a lever action shotgun an 1887 might be the choice. It's to bad they don't make them in 20 gauge.

I'd like to run across a 92 in .45LC... Cheap... pre-safety.

I'd like a 38-55 or a 375 Win. I seem to find 94AEs in 38-55 at around a grand and I'm guessing 375s are about the same. I do like that Marlin RD has been makin, bacon with.
