G'Day from OZ

Post by BigeyeBob »

G;Day All ,
I'm in Northern Territory Australia .
Just purchased a Rossi M92 357Mag in stainless with a 24" barrel .On the tang it has stamped Taurus ,and has no button safety on the bolt.
I've have already refinished the wood work , rubbed it back re-stained and the finished with Truoil .It looks much better. I found the original finish coming off when handling . A set of skinner barrel mount peep sights are on the way from the US. A new Williams front sight from Brownells.
I have been a hunter /shooter all my life and have a number of other firearms in the safe .
Any way don't want to bore you all too much so Ill shut up now.

Bob

Thanks for the welcome fellas .
I had a good friend that lived in Medina Ohio , sadly he passed away a few years ago .
He was a great bloke and came out here one time for a visit , unfortunately I wasn't able to return the visit.
Always wanted to visit the USA , hopefully one day my dream will come true.
Any ways I'll get some pics a bit later and post them up.

Bob.
