My 1895 Browning .35 Whelen Project

Post by 7.62 Precision »

A few months back my wife bought me a Browning 1895 rebored and chambered to .35 Whelen. http://762precision.wordpress.com/2013/ ... re-it-was/

Since then, I have been working to bring it to a configuration I preferred: http://762precision.wordpress.com/7-62-precision-blog/

Wow... absolutely beautiful. Col "Townie" Whelen would have loved using it to prove that "Only accurate rifles are interesting"!

That's a darn fine looking rifle. Hope you enjoy shooting it as much as I did looking at it.
At my age, there IS nothing better than shooting.
