Re: The new self-made rear sight
I think Ranch Dog should get half of the proceeds since he told it like it is, and then you did it! Nothing like a little encouragement to get the job done.Ranch Dog wrote:Yeah, you will need to figure out that one.vtoran wrote:I mean something like http://www.aliexpress.com/item/QD-Rear- ... 95717.html or http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/si ... yle_1=Peep Sights , but more compact and ergonomic and fitting the bolt. I have the idea how it should be, but I think, I have to construct it myself.

Re: The new self-made rear sight
As You can see, first I decided to construct it.
Many good words were said about my sight. But the result is - nobody needs it. And it is very strange, because there is no alternative.

My apologies, they looked like the same thing to me. Could you elaborate on the differences? I do not have the StevesGunz version because I was not particularly impressed with it.

Did you look at this topic starting at page #1? I can only imagine the amount of work it takes to produce this sight! More of a work of art!aragornelessar86 wrote:My apologies, they looked like the same thing to me. Could you elaborate on the differences? Re: The new self-made rear sight
I've obviously struck a nerve. I'm deeply sorry to have offended. This sight definitely has an aesthetic superiority over Nate's, and seems to offer easier elevation adjustment. I was simply pointing out that there is another option out there that offers the same basic function of a safety replacement peep. Feel free to delete my posts if they give the impression of thread %@*&$ or otherwise casting vtoran's creation in a negative light.
