Rossi accuracy

Post by sherman »

I have a Rossi single Shot 223 rifle . Saturady morning at my local range I shot a three shot group that you can cover with a dime at 100 yrds. Good little rifle for the money . Fsherman

Awesome! Glad to see a Single Shot fellow show up! A lot of the rifles out there but few owners participating here.

Besides my Wizard (which is different from the Single Shot series), I have a 12 Gauge Slug Gun-50 Cal Muzzleloader Matched Pair. I will be finishing the stock on my new R762MB tomorrow and start shooting it immediately. It is chambered in 7.62x39 Russian.

That is good to hear. I will assume you are shooting 55 gr and lighter. My understanding is the Rossi has a 1 in 12 twist. I have an H&R I am looking for a 223 barrel for but I want no less than 1 in 10 twist.
