Couldn't pass up the price < $500.00 including shipping. It's the 20" blued version. Picked it up on GB auction last night.

I got mine the same way and it should be at Bud's for me to pickup come Monday. I'm really looking forward to it as I will now have a rifle to go with my Raging Bull 454.

That makes me feel better about spending $500 for mine. That quote I heard about Barrows selling two of them for 379 broke my heart. Especially since his shop is about an Hours drive for me. After I got home with mine. I was looking at the box and they had written 375 on it. I could have gone through the rest of my life NOT knowing that.

Good luck with your new purchase xshot. I have not shot mine yet, been too busy "painting" bullets lately.

Joe, you couldn't wait for me to decide that I didn't want this one could you?

Just in time for the end of pumpkin season. I'll bet the 454 really hollows them out!

My Amadeo Rossi M92/454 (PUMA) gets shot more than my other 2 x Rossi M92s together.
It was made after the 2000ish CNC retooling and just before the Taurus/Braztech takeover (Rossis best era) and has the revolutionary double threaded tube magazine design and does not have any other safety devices than the perfectly adequate JMB half-cock detent.
Still shooting flawlessly & very accurately with loads pushing a 335 grain hc lead bullet.
Love that rifle.

500 - Oregon Trail 250gr cast bullets
100 - Hornady 300gr XTP's
200 - Starline brass
Lee - Reloading dies
Lee - FC die

Likewise, and the wife is keeping the big wooden rolling pin that her mother gave her visible on the kitchen counter in case I come home with another gun.
I would purchase a pre-safety Amadeo Rossi M92 carbine or trapper in 480 Ruger if I happenstanced upon one in good condition at a reasonable price but I'm not actively looking........other than that I've got all the Rossi rifles I'll ever own. I have no interest in the new Braztech products.
Right now I'm assessing what guns occupying space in my gun safes are hunting guns and which are dust collectors with a downsizing in view for the latter category.

I wasn't going to pay the $600 - 700.00 they had been going for the past several months. I was actually surprised that I won the rifle I bid on. Hopefully this rifle will be as good or better than my .357 SS 92. I actually like and use the pigtail safety.
