I actually like the walnut grips however when I got the 7 1/2" barrel which I've wanted since I was a kid. My mind was made up to match it to Matt Dillion's gun from Gunsmoke. Come to find out he used the same Cimarron/Uberti in the TV show, as I have and the natural stag horn is as close as it gets.
It looks identical to the one used in Gunsmoke.
Uberti/Beretta make the best firearms.

What revolver is that in your flap holster?
Thank you ironhead for the kind words.
Thats a heritage rough rider 22 combo in the flap holster.

I made the small pouch, it holds 95 rds of 22 mag, plus five in the cylinder.

also made a cross draw holster for it, I like the flap holster better though, because it keeps the gun completely covered and protected if im out hunting or trapping, or woods walking through heavy brush.

heres a pic next to a single six.

Nice work on the cross draw. I would like one in that style for my 5 and 1/2 in Uberti Open Top in 44 Special. Did you find a pattern for that holster or do it on your own? Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob.
I made the pattern myself.
I took a sheet of card stock, folded it in half, laid the revolver on top, then took a pencil and traced around till I found what I liked/
Then just cut it out and put the revolver inside, pencil some more and cut away more paper as needed.
Sometimes i go through several sheets of card stock.
Doesnt have to be card stock, can be an old manilla folder, just about anything will do.
then just take the leather of choice and transfer the pattern to the leather.
I made this shoulder rig for my Uberti 1849 pocket revolver.
I made the pattern from all the pics I could find of the Josey Wales rig.
Image
made this one for a 58 remington, then did a wolf head carving.
Image
Image
made this shoulder rig for an old S&W model 10 that I restored.
Image
And drew up this one for a Uberti 3rd model dragoon.

once you get the knack of it, you can make whatever you want, anyway you want.
