yes, i did.
it s quite easy, i thaught i would have a harder time with the bolt but it was ok.

i think i may have an issue with the extractor, i see in a lot of video, they use a brass to hold it in place, i cant do that, the brass fall off, is it noraml,
i just use a small screw driver to hol the extractor.

is the extractor rod is supposed to scrap the bolt pin?

the hook under the bolt looks bend is it normal?

it s gonna wear pretty fast i think...

another thing, i heard a lot of youtube saying you can dry parts in the oven, it didnt work for me,
i surely did something wrong but i dont what (200° barely 10mn) some parts lost a bit of blueing...

was it too hot or the blueing is made poorly?

I do not use a cartridge. I use my finger on the front of the bolt while I position the lever into the bolt, remove my finger, and move the bolt without any pressure applied to the lever. I truly don't see the big deal. I own six of these and tear them down quite often. I slide the bolt in within seconds.

Can you get a picture of what you are describing?

I suspect it was too hot. I'm not sure I would use an oven but I'm not big on heat as it can change the properties of metal. The bluing on the Rossi is the one thing that seems to receive a lot of complements, it is deep and dark.

hello,

i ve no picture of it for now, next disassembly i ll take a pic.

it s the hook who s holding the ejector rod, spring, spring retainer. it seemd to touch the extractor rod. the rod would tend to move on the side due to pressure. it s invisible but may scrap all together when the lever engages inside the bolt around those pieces.

anyway, it cycles really smoothly since i ve polished the parts.

this hook is scrapping the bolt/lever pin and the rod of the ejector.
is this rod a bit wore on yours?

I split this topic away from the "Official Picture Thread" so the it focused on the issue you're experiencing. Here is detail drawing of the R92 bolt. The Ejector Spring Stop (30) in the drawing is pictured backwards! The raised tab on the stop should be aft, toward the back end end of the bolt.

From my experience the Ejector (32) hangs a little loose, there is a little play which causes it to sag, is this what you are asking about? Or, is the Ejector Spring Stop (30) bent and dragging as the action is cycled.

You will need to get the parts through Rossi. Here, in the US, we use the contact info on RossiUSA.com to get parts. I'm not sure who you will need to contact. Might look on that web site.
