They're a few days early for the picnic
Mama and babies were back at 2 PM this afternoon in spite of the 90º weather.
And here are the offspring and their first baby picture.

Wow that would make me nervous for sure bear mommas are dangerous. Still cute to watch though.

Nice pictures! Has Michael gotten any more pictures of the horse or actually seen it?

Re: They're a few days early for the picnic
Good morning Michael,
Mike hasn't gotten any more horse pics but he thinks he knows where it came from. He has a neighbor about a mile and a half away that keeps a horse and a mule in a small enclosure, dirty looking animals and surroundings, just what you'd expect after seeing the condition of the horse in the original pic. Mike is so busy right now that he doesn't seem to have time for the trail cam. He just bought a JD Gator and had me for a ride the other day when I dropped by to see how things were going. He's making progress with the appearance although his work seems to be never ending. He hasn't seen any fawns yet but we saw a good size doe out for a stroll in mid-afternoon heat.
Have a great holiday and best regards to your family.
Frank

Thanks for the reply. I know what Mike is experiencing but it all is worth it down the road, no doubt about it. How you enjoy your weekend as well.

That sow would be on you clawing and chewing before you could say "sorry Mrs. Yogi" if she took the notion you were a danger to those cubs.

All of these wildlife pictures taken by my daughter are from behind the absolute safety of genuine thermopane windows! About ten years back there was a huge boar in the neighborhood that probably went over 600 pounds. He had everyones respect, walking outside after dark was quite the experience.
Here is another pic she snapped which just happens to be my favorite, taken in 2003.

Hey if those bears get to be a nuisance, call the wildlife officers and tell them you request they be relocated to Marienville, PA! Wow looks like your local squirrel population is about to go through the roof! P.S. accidently thanked RD as my thumb swiped me down through the thread.
