Don, looks like you might should have bought two of 'em if you're planning on shooting one yourself.

Mrs Willy locked onto my Navy Arms until I picked up a Marlin 1894C from a cousin. She decided that she likes the Marlin carbine better than my Navy Arms rifle. O' course about that time I was really talking up the Marlin and dissing my 1892. A fellow has to do what he has to do at times.

The gun shops in King County GA must be selling a lot of 92s cause apparently they have been experiencing a zombie outbreak there. +corn

donhuff wrote: Yes the microgroove does LOOK like it might seal better by not having the sharp corners like regular rifling. That poly og anal rifling that glock uses again LOOKS better still, for cast. But what looks right aint always so. It's funny, I shot cast in a model 23 Glock for 15 years before finding out that "you aint supposed to do that". Hasn't stopped me either.
Me too, didn't know I wasn't supposed to use cast in Glocks! Of course, everyone knows the true issue with Glocks is their HUGE unsupported chamber. I saw a note on the Lee site where they finally said it, "Don't reload ammo for Glocks". That tells me they must have ended up in some litigation over a KABOOM. I've seen two blow with factory, jacketed ammo... nothing to do with cast bullets or reloads. My CZ82 9mm Makarov has a true polygonal barrel, no rifling, it outshoots any Glock I've owned. I ended up choosing the Taurus products over the my Glocks but the my CZ82 actually trumps them all. I tried some of the current CZ handguns and weren't impressed. I guess it is hard to beat something that was designed to rule with the iron fist.

That was part of the reason that I wanted a 357. As you can tell, she aint all that big, and that dang-ole 44 might be a little too much for her. I just might have to go back up there and get that blued 357.

Pricedo,
I dont watch that show but have seen a couple of episodes. I did not understand what you meant at first but finally got it. I'm slow with things like that!
I hate to tell you, but there is no county in Georgia named King. The show if made in Senoia and that town is in Coweta county. It's just a little ways off the path for my trip back home from the gun shop where I got the Rossi. I considered cruisin down main st and picking off a few zombies with my new toy but, I didn't have no bullets dangit.

Yeah, it's easy to tell if the brass I pick up at the range was shot in a glock. Rectangular firing pin dent with a drag mark on it. And the case looks like a pregnant guppy.

"dont reload ammo for glocks" something else im doing wrong! I'll put it on my long list. LOL

I reload for my Glock 29. "10mm" I purchased an aftermarket lonewolf barrel for it because I shoot nothing but cast. I wish Rossi made a 10mm in a lever.

That Marlin 1894 carbine in 357 that I bought came from a 4'11" cousin who doesn't weigh 100lbs soaking wet. She killed 2 or 3 deer a year with it for 20 years.

How in the heck did she get the deer out of the pasture? She must have had a farmall tractor or a straping husband....
