Traded a 1982 walther pp in 7.62 plus $100 for this NIB model 36. I paid 310 for the walther so overall I don't think I did too badly. It's never been fired and looks pristine. Love this thing. Going to have to get a shooter now. :-)

Always liked small footprint revolvers for SD.
With revolvers a dud cartridge doesn't interrupt the shot string ..........you just cycle on to the next chamber whether shooting in single or double action mode.
The cartridges stay put in the revolver cylinder & don't move anywhere during the duration of the shooting string & can't jam in the action cause essentially there is no action in a revolver in the same sense as there is in an automatic pistol.
The revolver vs pistol for first armed responder situations (before police arrive) argument is ongoing..........both sides have their staunch defenders & detractors.
That's a beautiful little revolver.......congrats !

Re: New safe queen
Very nice! I'm a sucker for revolvers also, but I don't think I could handle one as a safe queen. I have to shoot them .
