Rossi 92 Forend

Just got a New forend from rossi for my M92 357 but it as no hole in it for the screw to go through that holds the clamp and forend on. How do I know where do drill that hole at. They have my old one because it was cracked got this for a replacement. Thanks for in input

I think I would slide the forearm on the barrel and the band over it. Use a punch to mark the screw holes through the band
