older style 454 casull R92 opinions

i started another thread on the new R92 454 rossi, during which I actually found one of the older/original versions going used.

I recall there were some issues during use of these, if I decide to inspect this older style R92 454 Casull is there anything I should be looking for? Is it a bad idea in general to get one of these? I heard they had magazine problems or something?

Magazine tube threads into receiver on these and the .480 only. Check the wrist of the stock. I had one for a while and it had no issues.
