drifting direction

Post by bluetick »

I want to remove the semi-buckhorn rear sight from a Rossi 92 and replace it with a Skinner peep sight. Is it correct to say that you'd drift out the buckhorn to the right by tapping on the left side? And then insert the Skinner sight into the dovetail from the right?
