Hi, I'm new to the group....Just picked up my second Rossi. Sold the first long ago and always wanted another.
Needed something to eat up my 44/40 ammo, Found a awesome EMF Hartford SRC. Case colors big loop, just haven't been to the range yet.

Re: Hartford 92
I have absolutely no need for a 44/40, and yet I want one. Good find. Let us know how it shoots.
Also, Welcome. Pull up a chair. Lots of good information here.

Re: Hartford 92
Welcome to the forum !
I liked all the .44/40 rifles I've had, the .44/40 revolvers not so much. I still have the dies and a few hundred loaded rounds in case I run across another .44 WCF.

Re: Hartford 92
I am very pleased...the wood is much nicer than my first Rossi, no import stamps other than EMF CO.inc.S A. CA.Upper tang..and Hartford stamped on the barrel. Lower tang has A. Rossi S.A.Made in Brazil. Case colors and big loop, awesome. I have a few hundred rounds but its hard to find and expensive. don't know when it was made. Can't wait to shoot...Serial # N0989XXX
