howdy all, cold wintery day in AZ and found this forum.
i just recently picked up a Rossi 20in Lever gun (stainless) in 38/357
only have found 38 special shells and brass to load. currently loading
158 grain XTP & Berry Plated 158grain FN over 3.6-3.8grains bullseye and Unique, respectively.
the bullseye seems a little cleaner.
I purchased a 20 in 44 mag lever gun several years ago.
loading 230 grain XTP over 8.4grains of UNIQUE. quite please for the fun little pop guns that they are.
additionally I own a pair of rossi pump 22';s that the kids loved when they were youngsters, but have since matured to adults and shoot whatever they can get their hands on.
any loads with unique and bullseye are the powders I have available. i am enjoying these guns as much as my 10/22's when i was a teenager. more pop and reloadable so it keeps me occupied.
thanks for the tidbits of info i have already gleaned and I look forward to learning more.
ENJOY!!!

Re: Arizona says HEY!!!
Welcome.
It was on and off all day dusting of snow and melting clean off. Long about 3PM it started heavy flurries.
I left work about an hour early at 4:15 and it was laying everywhere, slickery on the roads until I dropped a Kft.
Got a dusting at the lower elevations and the mountain pass highway was closed this AM along with the back route to the plant.
I figure tomorrow will be mostly clear.
That was yesterday and last night here in the SoCal desert.HarryAlonzo wrote:Welcome from a fellow Zoner. Have had rain, snow, sleet and hail all day.

HEY back at 'cha Arizona. Here (in Arkansas) it's iced up pretty good. I-40 is shut down in several places due to tractor-trailer wrecks. We're just hunkered down and waiting for the ice to melt. Maybe tomorrow temps will get above freezing for a few hours.

Welcome to the party.
We've got "wintery mix" coming our way this evening and over night.
