Hello from MI
Hello from MI
First timer on here from Michigan. While new to the site, not new to guns. Over the course of the past 25yrs I've owned some random 200+ firearms. I guess you could say, I like to try just about everything once.
Despite the unrested opinions of the past, Taurus & Rossi have always treated me right. Over the years I've had about a dozen or so pistols/revolvers in each brand, but only recently tried a few rifles. Have a R22S and M92 and absolutely love them.
Happy to see what I can learn from this board about my rifles

357. I originally had my heart set on the 24in octagon barrel, but just never committed. Then a opportunity to buy a used blued 20in round barrel came along for the right priceReese-Mo wrote:Welcome, and what cartridge for the 92?

Good looking rifle! Is that an Amadeo Rossi with a wampus cat medallion on it?doctorj77 wrote:357. I originally had my heart set on the 24in octagon barrel, but just never committed. Re: Hello from MI
Thanks, no its a later Braztech. One of the previous owners (think I'm the 3rd?) did wood working as a hobby and refinished the stock with a linseed rub. I guess while he was there, decided to inlet a peso into the butt. No idea why, just probably thought it added character.
So while I haven't done anything to this rifle yet, I can't say I don't have any money wrapped into it

Re: Hello from MI
Welcome,
The 24" octagonal is nice but it is also quite a bit heavier than the round barrels.
They also tend to be quite a bit more expensive and more difficult to get your hands on.
