The new self-made rear sight...and one more...and the last
Re: The new self-made rear sight...and one more...and the la
The muximum travel is about 4,5 mm. But the comfort hight (more firm) is 3 mm.

For those who needs safety I can make the rear sight with safety feature. But it will not be adjustable.

That’s a slick set up!
It don’t take all kinds, we just got’em.

I can also make brass magazine follower and ship it with sight.

I received a blued Vtoran Model 2 sight in the mail last week. Andrew was responsive, accommodating of special requests, and very clear that it might take up to 6 weeks to make the sight and have it travel halfway around the world. It ended up on my doorstep less than 3 weeks after I ordered it.
I'm very happy with my purchase. I still haven't gotten it to the range, but I think I am going to like the ability to adjust the height very quickly. I added some blue loctite to the height screw to firm it up a little since I may be using a lot of the travel to switch between hot 357 hunting loads and subsonic 38 special plinking loads.

Andrew you are an artist! What is the procedure for placing an order! Does each sight have an identifying number? They are all works of art.
Thanks

I was thinking about the numbers, but sights are too small to place it.
If you need the sight just write me PM.

Gotta tell ya...I really like vtoran's rear sight. His work is very, very good. Delivery took a while, but that was expected. Easy to adjust elevation for differing handloads, and it stays put. No windage adjustment possible for this rear sight, so windage adjustment was via front sight, and done only once! The only modification that I need to make due to my eyesight...is while using a 1/6" bead front sight I may have to open up the rear aperture from 1.5 mm (.059) to 2 mm (.078) for a better sight picture.
Also, I may even round off the outer profile of the rear sight aperture to enhance target acquisition and make it look sexy.

These look great.
I'm REALLY hoping his Model 2 sight will work with my standard/OEM front sight (Rossi 92-38/357). If anything, I figure I might need a medium to large aperture.
QUESTION:
Does anyone know if his rear sight will see over a Skinner rail? I assume it will, as someone mentioned it was a low rail.
