Source for cartridge guide screws??

The parts and shipping are high considering the disclaimer of "not all parts interchange with Taurus Rossi." I think I would try RossiUSA first

It may be worth trying some Winchester 92 screws, if they're easier to find...

When I bought my "good condition" R92 one of the cartridge guides was floating around in the mechanism.. the previous owner had dismantled it and lost the screw!!

I spoke to a gunsmith who specialises in "cowboy guns" and he said a Win 92 screw should fit... and it did...

The problem is that apparently when Rossi was making the 92 Puma they reverse engineered the guns and MAYBE used the same thread screws as the Winchesters. LATER once Rossi/Braztech owned the company they apparently rebaselined the guns and changed the threads to metric.

So if the gun is older the parts may fit, if the gun is newer then it is less likely that the parts will fit.
The Winchester threads will NOT be metric.

That's a bit of an odd size. Might find them at the hardware store. IF all you can find turns out to be stainless that may be a problem if the receiver is stainless since a stainless has a tendency to cold weld.

You might get the threads right with the hardware store screw, but not the head depth, radius, and diameter. Gun part shipping always seems expensive, $12 at Jack's, I'd call RossiUSA.

Yeah the head style is going to be a bear. Most will probably even be Phillips drive.
I looked through several of my specialty fastener sources and most of them don't even list the fine thread version. Some of the hardware stores listed them but You might need to cut them to length and then maybe modify the head diameter. I didn't pull the screw out of the Rossi but it looks like it might even be a reduced 'cheese' head that may match a counter bore on the receiver. You might be able to create the screw out of a hex bolt but you'd have to cut the slot in it and turn the head down. You'd put enough labor into it to have bought the right screw. It might work as a temp fix or if you can't get the right part at all.
