Howdy From the Bay Area
Hello all, I'm a bay area transplant originally from Missouri. I just got my first Rossi firearm out of the ten day wait. It is a beautiful 20 inch blued round barrel .44 mag R92. I bought it through AAFES on Travis AFB which was a very pleasant experience and tax free to boot! Anyway I have a lever wrap, safety delete and saddle ring on the way to make it my own. I'm looking forward to learning about this and other Rossi firearms on the forum.

Welcome norcalAF. I hope you enjoy the R92 in 44. I have the .357. The more you shoot em the better they get. If you need to smooth it up a bit, you'll find tips in the forum. With a little bit of love these rifles are really sweet. I've filed, sanded and polished parts, removed the safety and put in a full spring kit. Putting it back together can be tricky, but that gets easier each time. You can make your R-92 action light, fast and very smooth. Keep us posted. Thanks for your service.
Put one foot in front of the other and don't stop till you get to where you're goin.
