Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by Ranch Dog »

Don't forget to set your scales back 15 pounds this morning!

Happy Thanksgiving. If you are not in the US, maybe we could help you find an excuse to miss work today. Then you could eat your weight in food and spend the rest of the day in a coma.

I'm thankful for the great bunch for people that participate in the forum!

I smoked a big pork loin Wednesday night .... marinated with my secret sauce Tuesday night, then dry rubbed with my "special mix" .... rolled and scorched over the hot coals/hickory, then put in a smoker pan on top of a bed of chopped onions and jalapenos for an hour ... next session covered with a wove bacon map and covered with more chopped onions/jalapenos (and more dry rub sprinkled on) for another hour .... then foil covered and left to cook for another hour+

Took it to my grandson's house Thursday night for a small Thanksgiving get together .... I didn't get to keep any of the left overs to take home ...
