Wandering through my assorted manuals and internet sources I trust I've been somewhat surprised at the paucity of loading info fro Lil'Gun and the 44 Mag. Given my experience with it in the 45 Colt I wold think it would be a good fit with anything 240 and heavier, or am I off the reservation here?

Re: Lil, Gun and the 44 Magnum
The Hodgdon Load data site has it listed for Pistol using a 240 Nosler jhp (22.5-24.5), but under Rifle Lil' Gun is only listed with the 225 FTX using 18.6 to 20.7 grains. In my Marlin, I've settled at 23.2 grains with Fed brass, WLR LP primer and a Sierra 240gn JHC. Lattered up to 24.0 grains, but the rifle seemed more accurate with less. Right close to 1800fps. Loading them at 1.595 oal. Hope that helps, the county east of here is the reservation so I can't be too far off!

Re: Lil, Gun and the 44 Magnum
After I wrote the OP I did some more digging and found some of the jacketed loads, all the cast loads seem to 300 grains plus. I may look into the Sierra bullet.
