Re: First Roe Deer from Poland
It was the first day of my license for roe buck. I wanted to go somewhere else but my car broke down so I walk obout 2 km over my house. I was walking trough the forest wondering about last season. I raised my head and saw him. He was walking across the road about 50 meteres from me. He saw me but I was wearing some good camouflage and he didn't recognize me. He started to bark at me and walk in my direction staring at me. I did saw that it is an old buck but I could not move. I have only raised my binoculars. Finally he jump few meteres away so I had time to set my bipod. He stops and make another few jumps and stopped again. I already got him in my red dot sight. I've shoot and saw that ha had a bullet. It was about 60-70 meteres so pretty far for my red dot (Vortex Venom). He run away about 40-50 meters because bullet did not hit any bone and only the end of lungs was damaged. I think that is all

The successful hunter is the one that can turn any circumstance into an opportunity. Your walk back through the woods is an example for all! Yes, "May the forest be generous!"
