Does anyone know if marlin wood will fit (without a ton of work) the RG 45-70. and while asking youse guys, which tang sight works for the RG 45-70.
I dont have mine yet but have the cases, and am casting bullets today.

I've kinda gotten used to the Rossi classic "Outhouse Brown" over the years.
I think Remlin is using the same paint recipe now for their newest rifles.
As long as the action is slick & the barrel is true I'm not fussy about color of a utility gun like the Rossi as long as it blends with the natural background I'll be hunting the gun in.
I bought my Rossis to be practical & productive.........not purty.

as for the wood that came on my mod 92, is he talking about the outside appearance or the inside contents.
