does anyone have a list of receiver sight options for the Rossies?
I am not a lever fan, so am interested to find what fits on the single shots.
also, does the wizard have the same mounting holes and diameter as the single shots?

Re: receiver sight options
'nuk,
Skinner offers a nice "peep" for the Rossi Single Shot/Wizard...

You will notice that the sight is a dovetail, which allows you to use a number of the Skinner options. The screw pattern actually follows that used on the Thompson Encore/Contender barrels.
I'm having my Wizard 44 Mag barrel being cut to 16" and will use this Skinner sight on it.

Hey Ranchdog
can you post a pic of the full rifle locked up so I can see the sight as the rifle sits?
thanks

Sure, here you go.nanuk wrote:Hey Ranchdog

Unfortunately the "electric guitar" stock, the high comb, is not going to allow the use of the peep as you cannot get down to see through it. The single-shot stock should not present this issue.

Looks good
my youth model has a high comb too... but it may work OK for the Skinner
if not, I'm not afraid to rasp/sand it down some.
the front sight might need to go up though.... hence the remington ramp!
