I hate admitting a mistake. But I recently made a concerted attack on Rossi for its circuit judge 22/22 magnum. The first independent reviews pointed out that the gun only shot at half its potential power, because of an enlarged cone. I purchased the gun because I believed that such an innovative and short-lived gun will become an instant collectors item.
I also purchased the gun because it is so cool looking.
I got the gun, and wow! it is really sweet--as a plinker.
I do think the gun is over-priced; but other than that, I give Rossi points for having gone where no man has gone before (except in the 1850"s when Colt came out with the first repeating rifle).
Having had the Rossi for several weeks now and I am selling my Henry lever action. I like the double action on the Rossi so much that I am also selling my Heritage 22/22Mag revolver and purchasing a Taurus 992; a 22/22magnum double action revolver.
appology to Rossi

Re: appology to Rossi
No one likes admitting to a mistake but it shows character when you do!! I live by a simple rule, if your not making mistakes your not doing anything.....

I'm glad it worked out for you! It looks like a cool gun - I've never seen one in a local gun shop.

Re: appology to Rossi
Thank you all for your gentle feedback regarding my fumbling toward a satisfactory armory.
Rman; I had a heck of time finding the Rossi. I only found one in a nearby city of 2 million people--and it was grossly over priced. I prefer spending my money locally, but I finally ended up going to Gun Broker.
