New Member from IOWA

Hello, I finally found a Rossi PUMA (without the stupid "safety") in 38/357 with a 16 inch barrel. It is being sent out from Texas today so should be here some time this week.

I have safes full of guns but always wanted one of these. I checked all the local gun shows for the past few years and found nothing. So, finally had to give in and check out gunbroker............it cost more than I wanted but these days everything does!!

I am currently living on a few acres East of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant. Then retired Air Force contractor. Now, just retired.

I think the Puma will be just the right size for use as a back door gun. Lots of critters int the trees and down by the pond so we shall see.

I'll put up pictures and probably ask questions when it arrives.

Just did the tracking on my new rifle!!!

I find it hard to believe the package sat in Oklahoma City for TWENTY-TWO AND ONE HALF HOURS before being put on the next truck to Kansas City!!! It must have just missed yesterday's truck!!!

Oh, well...........patience!!! It will arrive soon; hopefully before the weekend.

It looks like a great place you have established here.

I just checked tracking again and found that my PUMA arrived is Des Moines this afternoon so - if I'm lucky it will make it to Cedar Rapids UPS place sometime tonight and to my FFL sometime tomorrow.

I have wanted one of these for a long time but refused to get the "new and improved" version with the "safety".

We shall see!!!
