92 1/2 octagon rifle

Post by redman2006 »

I have an older 92 in 45 colt. It is presafety and is a 1/2 octagon barrel. The sight is part of the barrel band. Crescent steel butt plate.

Over all, it is in very good condition.

My question is about a value if I were to sell or trade. I have not been able to find any like it to compare current prices.

The serial is amo506xx if that helps.

Thanks!

Afraid I can't help you with a price, I've never seen one. Can you post a pic? Sounds like a nice configuration. DP

I have seen them for sale in the past but supply and demand is your friend and enemy. If you are wanting to price it just look on gunbroker and such to get an idea what the same caliber and barrel length is going for I know you have 1/2 oct. barrel this may be a chance once you get the standard price to add a little so you make more may sell may not.

Thanks guys. I will try to figure out how to post a picture.

I am really not sure I want to sell, but since I found my Marlin, this one is not getting used as much.

I still like it, but I don't really need two 45 colt rifles.
