Georgia on my Mind

Post by redlevel42 »

100 miles South of Hotlanta.
Traded for an older .357/.38 a few years back, and bought a new .45 Colt stainless earlier this year. Both 16 inch barrels. I also own Marlin and Winchester lever guns. Bought my first one in 1961, a 39A. Been hooked since. I sold a Savage 99A about a year ago that I had owned for 40 years. I intend to hunt with the .45, and my daughter will hunt with the .357 this year. Glad to find a Rossi forum.

My daughter sighting in the .357. She is an English Professor at a small two year college. Not your typical English professor.

The .45 Colt. It seems to feed both the rnfp and swc 250 grain lead pills equally well.

Welcome to the forum.
Impressive looking stainless 92.
I don't have a .45 but I have a .357 Mag 92......great rifle and easy on the wallet and shoulder to shoot.
Watch out for those zombies up in King County!

You fellows from the great State of Georgia are representing strong here on the RR, welcome to the forum! Great to see a young lady giving an R92 to a workout as well!

I have a young lady that I taught to shoot a handgun for self defense coming out to the ranch today, she is going to spend a couple of days with us while she shoots all my R92s from the 357 Mag to the 480 Ruger as she wants to start hunting and she wants to hunt with a R92. She called me and told me she was looking at them on a web site that had all of them in stock and was going to buy the 45 Colt but wanted to know what I thought, I told her to make the drive from Houston and try them before she bought. So, she said she would be here today!

I also see another R92 picture for the forum header!
