A Rossi with good sights, that's different.

Rossi 92 45 colt I picked for cheap.

I converted my 92 SRC that I purchased new back in 1999 into a takedown rifle. Fun project.

Here's my 2015 R92.

I added a bolt mounted peep sight with a target, .042" aperture, to my carbine and magically, all the fuzz surrounding the front sight and the target is now gone.

Does Steve's sight work with the stock Rossi front sight or is a replacement front sight of a different height required? Also, how close to "centered" is the sight? In other words, did you have to make much of a windage adjustment by offsetting the front sight?

My first Rossi. R92 357/38spl. Love it so far!
