Fiber optic front sight for Rossi 92 ?

Post by JonBoy »

Hello Fellers ,
I’m sure this has been covered a bunch , but I looked through old post and didn’t find it . I’m wanting to put a fiber optic front sight on my Rossi 45 Colt . There’s not much room between the dovetail and barrel band so I’m sure that limits what’ll fit . Any help would be appreciated

I put a rear Marbles Bullseye sight on my Rossi that made me change the front sight to a higher one. I just filed the part that hit the barrel band so it would not touch. Then cold blued the filed part of the sight. Worked very well. Thats exactly what I would do for the fiber optic sight.

If its not too late go to DawsonPrecision for the best FO sights made. I have one on my 93, my Henry, most of my 1911's and 2 of my CZ's. I swear I was looking for a battery compartment on them because they are so bright its unbelievable.
Excellent prices too.
