Hey fellas, happy July 4th weekend..
I've tried a few times to get the Brazilian Mystery wood to accept a dark stain, hec , any stain would be nice.
Any suggestions? I'm think dark dark but no paint.

Have you tried the Watco Danish Oil?
They make a dark walnut.
I have a can of it I plan on using for a different project but also if I get to tearing apart my 92s using it on them to seal the wood and hopefully enrich the wood a bit. Not 100% sure I want to darken them up that much though.

It's alcohol based so you can thin it as desired. I mixed my own color when I re-did the .454 I used to own (for two months).
