Lever wrapping

Post by rjsetford »

Ok, first official question on the board for me.

I'd like to wrap the levers on both my 92s. Probably 550 para as I seem to have miles of the stuff. Any tutorials you'd recommend I look at?

Cheers,

Hi Rich..

This is the wrap I got for my R92..

Don't worry that it's Henry, the standard one fits the R92.

Also.. check these out.

that shows a larger lever loop but the principle is the same.

For reference: Hellhound Leather will ship to GB/UK. Pioneer Gun Works and D4 Guns wont. Skinner sights will ship to GB/UK

These will not: https://store.stevesgunz.com/

This is my wrap, from Hellhound Leather..

I don't have a tutorial, but paracord is pretty slick. My guess is you may need to finish it off with a melt instead of just a knot.

Thanks for all the links etc. Three guesses what I'll be watching over the next hour or so.

I'm at the range tomorrow so will hopefully get at least one lever wrapped tonight. Wish me luck!
